The Sun & Soul 550 model features two fully reclined loungers. These allow for total body immersion for a full hydrotherapy experience from head to toe for true relaxation. Along the recliner, strategically placed jets ensure important muscles are soothed enabling you to have the equivalent of a full body massage at home, whenever you want.

Individual jet controls

We recognise that each person likes different pressures and speeds when it comes to a hot tub. To give you the most control over your experience, each seat has individual jet controls. This means you can set it to your own comfort level.

Foot jets

The strategically placed foot jets on the Vortex Mercury makes tired feet a thing of the past. Feel those aches slip away as the jets massage and soothe achy feet. Perfect if you have been walking, playing with the kids or simply need that extra level of relaxation.

Multi-coloured LED lighting

The bright multi-coloured LEDs are perfect for setting the tone for your evening. Whether you are looking for calm and relaxation or having a party you simply pick the colour and enjoy it.
Alternatively, you can put it on colour change mode for a more upbeat, party atmosphere. Lighting is a great way to set the ambience and there is a wide range of colours to choose from to help you experience fully what the Mercury can do.

Shiatsu Massage Sheet

This seat features jets precisely located to relieve tension on both sides of the spine, from top to bottom plus hip and hamstring massage air jets.

Corner Back Massage Seats 

There are 4 strategically positioned back massage pulsating jets in this corner seat   You can control each jet for individual power control to personalise the massage every time.

High Density Locking Thermal Insulating Cover

Sun & Soul spas come complete with heat shrink-sealed high-density foam liner to prevent water ingress and extend the life of the cover.  They are also fitted with 4 cabinet-mounted locks to secure the cover when no in use.

Long Life Cabinet

The composite cabinets are not only beautiful but also sturdy and built to withstand the test of time. They are resistant to rot, mould and mildew.  Easy to clean with a damp cloth with fresh water.

Ozone water clarifier

A built-in PureZone CD Ozone Water Clarifier. This is one of the safest and most economical ways of cleaning the water as there a no harsh chemicals added to the water and the process doesn’t affect the taste, smell or Ph level of the water making it child safe.

One of the biggest selling points of the Pure Zone filter cartridge is that it never needs cleaning, making maintenance simple and hassle-free.

Thermabond 4-layer shell construction

At the heart of any quality, spa is a quality spa shell. After all, whilst pumps and other equipment can be replaced, the spas shell cannot.

For this reason, Vortex Spas use a 4-layer, 8-step Thermabond lamination process not found in most spas. This process includes the curing of the shell in a temperature and humidity-controlled oven. This is absolutely vital if the shell of the spa is to last the lifetime of ownership.

Dual-layer insulation

The Sun & Soul dual-layer insulation covers both the outer cabinet and the shell. This is the most efficient way to insulate. It traps air and uses the same principles as those utilised by modern double-glazed windows.

The dual-layer system keeps the heat from the pumps and plumbing, reduces noise and provides a warm layer between the water and the outside of the spa. The dual-layer insulation adds a higher level of heat retention than the other brand’s perimeter insulation.

Built To Last:

Permaframe – is a timber-free design, produced using high-impact, injection moulded plastic. It is impervious to rot, mildew or vermin damage and designed to last indefinitely.

Toughbase – is built strong enough to take the weight of the spa, water and people. It prevents vermin from getting inside the workings of your spa and is virtually indestructible to ensure years of trouble-free usage.

Duraflex plumbing – specially designed for use in high-performance spas. Duraflex incorporates a coil of rigid PVC within its walls that allows the piping to flex but not kink. This ensures equal pressure to every jet whilst avoiding rigid right-angle joints that can reduce hydrotherapy pressure.

The fuses, headrests, cabinet finish and filters are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship or materials for 30 days following delivery. The factory-installed o-zone water purification system is warranted against malfunction due to defects in workmanship or materials for one year from the original date of purchase.

All stereo-related components (receiver, speakers, subwoofer, stereo media locker, power supply etc.) are warranted against malfunction due to defects in workmanship or materials for one year from the original date of delivery.
All other factory-installed components not mentioned specifically including, but not limited to the jets, diverter valves, LED Lighting systems, filter housing and mechanical components are warranted against malfunction due to defects in workmanship or materials for two years from the original date of purchase

Genuine Sun & SoulTM brand parts & accessories (Genuine Parts or Accessories) are built to our highest standards of quality, durability and performance, and they are designed to work with your spa to ensure optimal performance and function. This Warranty is void if we or our designated representative determine that the spa has been subjected to damage or failure due to the installation of parts and/or accessories that are not Genuine Parts or Accessories.
This disclaimer includes but is not limited to filters, UV-C bulbs, ozone systems, repair parts and other accessories.

The product guarantee is only valid for products used in the United Kingdom and installed in a domestic environment. This Warranty is void where defects occur from:

• General wear and tear, or alteration;
• Repair by a person not authorised by us or our authorised dealer;
• Misuse or negligent use which includes any installation, operation or maintenance of the spa other than in accordance with the instructions contained in the owner’s manual provided with the spa, including but not limited to the failure to maintain proper water chemistry and chemical balance and the use of abrasive or improper cleaners or parts which are not Genuine Parts and Accessories;
• Damage arising in transit by a carrier that is not provided by us or our authorised dealer
• The commercial use of the products.
• Some parts of the spa are manufactured from natural materials (or man-made materials replicating natural materials) which may change in the ordinary course of their
  lifespan; this may affect the look and feel of the spa. As such these are not regarded as defects, and include (without limitation):
  • Products that have yellowed or changed colour in sunlight;
  • Products that have failed as a result or the ingress of moisture that are typical as a consequence of use.
• This Warranty does not provide cover for insulating covers, or any item attached to or installed on the spa by you.
• You accept liability for repair work performed by anyone other than by us or our representative.
